The Elite Rings II were recently featured in the Venice Biennale in an exhibit by dancer and artist, William Forsythe. The Venice Biennale is equivalent to the Olympic Games in the world of contemporary art, with one artist representing each country. His exhibit involved hanging 200 rings in a room and also doing a performance on them. The exhibit was popular with attendees who were able to naviagte the room by stepping into and hanging onto rings at various heights. The beautiful design of the clear Elite Rings II fit perfectly with the style of the exhibit.
The New York Times critic seemed to think it was one of the highlights of the show. You can read the full article here: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/11/arts/design/11abroad.html?_r=1
