About Us Print

Ringtraining.com was founded by Tyler Hass in 2003. Since then, we have gone through an evolutionary process with the design and manufacturing of our products. We started out with a very simple idea: to produce top-notch equipment for people willing to train hard. The company was started in a college dorm room, like many of the world's most successful companies. Since 2003, we have grown tremendously and now provide equipment to clients all over the world, including elite military units, pro athletes and the hardest training men and women on the planet. We are now working with one of the top production facilities in the world and it really shows in the quality of our products. We don't advertise, so the growth of our business has been thanks to our loyal customers. Thank you!

Tyler Hass is a competitive tennis player with a lifelong interest in fitness. His interest in tennis and martial arts led him into hardcore fitness training. Ringtraining.com was founded because no one was selling gymnastics rings designed for fitness workouts. Not being a gymnast, he needed something accessible so that he could progress gradually into harder moves. As a result, he created the first portable, adjustable height rings. He is a regular contributor to the CrossFit Journal and published Girevik Magazine and Power Athletes Magazine, both devoted to modern, functional fitness.

Jordan Jovtchev is a world-class gymnast currently training to appear in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. It will be his 5th appearance in the Olympics, an all-time record for gymnastics. He has received medals in the past two Olympics and has won numerous medals at the World Championships and other international competitions. He grew up in Bulgaria and was the youngest member of his Olympic team in Atlanta. He later emigrated to the United States to train and coach. At an age when most gymnasts would retire, he kept going. He trained alone, without a coach for several years and began to have his best results. In 2001 and 2003, he won gold on rings and floor at the World Championships. He is now widely regarded as one of the best ringmen of all time.

Kevin Mazeika began working with us as a technical adviser in 2004. That year, he was head coach of the World and Olympic teams for the United States. Under his leadership, they earned a team silver medal, which is their best result to date. He has produced several gymnasts of international caliber in his gym, the Houston Gymnastics Academy. It is a national team training center where many of the country's best athletes train. In spite of being taller than most gymnasts, he competed successfully at the college level, and he now shares his passion for the sport with his athletes. His athletes are known for their high strength and conditioning levels.
