The Elite Rings take the standard pushup and take it to the next level, with a twist of gymnastics. Because gymnastics rings are free to rotate and move side-to-side and up-and-down simultaneously, you are able to do pushups in the most natural position for your body. This results in greater safety for your wrists, elbows and shoulders. Proper biomechanics are critical for any exercise you will do for high repetitions. Plus, there are some unique variations only possible with Elite Rings.
Free Motion

The free moving nature of the Elite Rings means that you must constantly stabilize the rings and support your body. Unlike traditional fixed apparatus, the top of the pushup is no longer a resting point. Your muscles are still activated because the rings can move away in an instant.
- Your abs and lats prevent the rings from moving forward.
- Your pecs and front delts prevent the rings from moving outwards to the side.
- Your medial biceps, delts and traps prevent the rings from moving backwards, towards your feet.
- And your rear delts and upper back prevent the rings from moving inwards.
- The end result is greater muscle recruitment for the entire rep for a safer, more efficient workout.
Corkscrew Motion
The Elite Rings are also free to twist, which creates the most natural groove for your shoulders, elbows and wrists. As you descend down into a pushup, the rings should turn outwards. As you head back to the top, the rings will turn inwards. The twisting motion is like a corkscrew and it is the safest pathway for your joints.
Variable Resistance

With quick-adjusting buckles, you can easily raise and lower the rings for variable resistance. Up higher, the pushup is much easier because your body is now at an angle. As you get stronger, you can lower the rings inch by inch towards the floor. People of all ages and abilities can enjoy the great benefits of the Elite Rings.
Additional Variety
Because the Elite Rings are free to move in any direction, you can also create additional variations to add to your workouts. If you would like to see a workout that uses 10 different variations, take a look at the 100 Pushups Workout.
